摘要：慢性阻塞性肺病（Chmnic obstructive pulmonary disease，COPD）每年导致大约100万人死亡。。慢性阻塞性肺病全球倡议（the Global Initiative for Chmnic Obstmctive Lung Disease，GOLD）和一些国家组织如美国胸科学会（the American Thoracic Society，ATS）／欧洲呼吸学会（the Eumpean Respiratory Society，ERS），英国国立临床规范研究所（the United Kingdom’s National Institute for Clinical Excellence，NICE）及加拿大胸科学会（the Canadian Thoracic Society）公布了COPD的诊断、治疗和预防指南。虽然这些指南定期更新，但还是落后于临床研究进展。同时临床医生也不完全遵守这些指南。
