摘要：The film series, Harry Potter, are everlasting legend of all time. It is a diverse work, which derives from the Bible,myths, and literature, reflecting explicitly social life. The study of Harry Potter by using archetypal critical theories allows to comprehend well the archetypes generated from human’s collective unconsciousness.The thesis attempts to carry an understanding of the biblical archetype of characters with the aid of the critical archetypal theories.
