摘要:Sherwood Anderson’s masterpiece Winesburg, Ohio is often considered to be the first real modern American novel."Hands"and"Adventure"are two representative stories of this novel. In this article, the author tries to do a brief analysis on the protagonists of the two stories by using the tripartite personality structure theory of Freud, aiming to get a deeper interpretation and the profound connotation of the stories.
